Why We Built This
I've been following AI closely since GPT-3 came out — using it, building with it, watching each model get closer to something that could genuinely help real businesses, not just impress in demos.
Then a conversation with a friend changed things. He runs a garage. His phone rings constantly — but he's always under a car, hands covered in oil, with no way to get to it in time. By the time he's free, the customer has already called someone else.
He told me he'd lost count of how many jobs had just walked out the door. Not because of bad work — he's exceptional at what he does — but because they couldn't get through to him.
That conversation sat with me. In late 2025, I decided to build the thing that should have existed: an AI that picks up when a tradesperson can't, handles the conversation properly, and books the job — so not a single opportunity is lost because of an unanswered call.
What It Doesn't Do (Yet)
Honesty first: Always In is an AI. It handles routine calls brilliantly — bookings, common questions, callbacks, quote follow-ups. It will tell a caller when it can't help with something unusual and take a message. It doesn't pretend to be human.
